Dr Kathryn Lowe MB BS, MRCPsych graduated from The Medical College of St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London in 1989. She became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1995 and completed her postgraduate training in memory disorders in the West Midlands.

Dr Lowe is a Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist at Sandwell Mental Health and Social Care Trust and is based at Edward Street Hospital, West Bromwich.

Dr Lowe has wide experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment in memory disorders, and is actively involved in clinical research.Her special interests include the management of challenging behaviours in dementia.

Dr Lisa Blissitt, MB ChB, MRCPsych (Psychiatry) trained at The University of Birmingham Medical School and graduated in 1994. She became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1999 and completed her specialist training in the West Midlands.

Dr Blissitt works as a Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry for Sandwell Mental Health and Social Care Trust. Dr Blissitt has a broad range of experience in managing people with memory problems.  She has a special interest in younger people with dementia.

She is actively involved in training both undergraduate and postgraduate students and is studying for a Masters Degree in Medical Education.

Dr Lucy Caswell MB BS, MRCPsych graduated from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1992. She began her medical career training in General Practice before specialising in Mental Health.

After completing postgraduate training in Oxford and Birmingham she became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1998. She has completed further postgraduate, higher specialist training in Psychiatry for Older Adults.

Dr Caswell, has a broad experience of mental health disorders in older people and in particular, experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of memory disorders. Dr Caswell is a Consultant Psychiatrist for Older Adults at Edward Street Hospital in Sandwell, West Midlands.

She has an holistic approach to her practice and is interested in complementary medicines and their use alongside conventional treatments.
